It was great to have the opportunity to vist the Shimano Technical Training Centre last month for some in person training. Over two days, the course covered the latest innovative Shimano products, including installation, maintenance and servicing.

Di2, or Digital Integrated Intelligence has been around for over a decade. Riders have quickly come to trust its ease of use, accuracy and reliability. The latest 12 speed systems from DuraAce, Ultega, and most recently 105 offer a fantastic line up at varied price points.

Linkglide offers a new adaptation to the standard mountain bike drivetrains, aimed at the E-bike, but a groupset worth considering on any bike. Durable, smooth and solid – this was a good drivetrain to experience. The shifts felt solid, and reassuring.
