In February we obtained our Bosch eBike Licence – so what does this mean?
Revolution Cycle Sport is now licenced by Bosch to work on your eBike! We can support, service and warranty System 2 and the Latest Smart System. Most bikes out there currently are System 2, the Smart System will be commonly seen on bikes from 2022 year onwards.
eBikes are the future, offering one of the most sustainable means of transport available. In concept they are like a conventional bike, they come in all shapes – touring, road, gravel, MTB and cargo. What varies is the battery (size and range), the motor (size, weight and power) and the way it operates and connects.
The latest Smart System includes smartphone connectivity, navigation, wireless phone charging, lights, alarms, remote motor security an so much more. A variety of motors with different features and performance and different battery capacities to suit.
Whilst they are not ‘upgrades’ and only fit existing frames as specified by the manufacturer – you need to know that your eBike is being looked after by a professional – be it a routine service or addressing a fault or warranty.
