Bike Box Hire
Bike Box hire and rental. Available to hire for the weekend, a week or longer – protect your bike with the Bike Box Alan Original. Riders off to tackle the best the continent has to offer, or complete an Ironman triathlon, rent and pack your bike safely for travel with a BBA.
Due to its clever design and geometry, most bikes will fit into the BBA. The BBA Original is designed to accommodate disc brakes, thru axles and tubeless tyres. There is additional space for Track pump, Trainers and wetsuit etc, but equally important is how compact the BBA Original range are when compared to other bike boxes. Consider this for getting to and from the airport, two BBA Original will fit in many small hatchbacks.
Top Travel Tips:
BBA is available for hire for the weekend, week, or longer. We require ID and payment for hire and a deposit in advance. It is suggested that you book your BBA as oversized luggage, weighing 11.5kg empty and get to the airport a bit earlier than usual. Have zip ties ready to lock the safety clasps shut for both the flight out and return. If renting a car, ensure the BBA fits in the boot.
Pricing:
Pricing is from £35 for 4 days. Please check availability by completing the form below or CONTACT US. Include any complete days you need before and after to collect and fit your bike into the box.
It is your own responsibility to pack and protect your bike and equipment. Although primarily designed for road bikes, BBA Original will fit TT bikes, gravel bikes, XC MTBs etc, but they may require some creativity and disassembly to fit. - 22 days or more – £4.50 per day
Collection and Return:
You will need to collect and return your bike box borrow from the workshop in Billingshurst, RH14. See opening hours below, or make arrangements in advance for out of hours.
Collection available from 1800 hrs the day preceding your booking.
Return by 1800 hrs on the final day of your booking.

Revolution Cycle Sport Ltd – Bike Box Hire Terms and Conditions:
1) On top of the rental fee, we charge a £100.00, refundable deposit per box, which is payable on collection.
2) Late fees may be charged at £10.00 per day.
3) We will only hire to an address that we can verify. You will need to produce ID & proof of address to hire.
4) Our Box will be inspected for damage prior to being hired, if you see any significant damage when you collect the box, please let us know as soon as possible.
5) The hirer (you) is responsible for the security and safekeeping of the bike box for the duration of the hire period, if the box is damaged during your flight it is your responsibility to claim from the Airline (as you have the contract with them) damage will be taken from the deposit (as section 8), please take a photograph to support your claim. Your claim should begin at the airport where the damage takes place, please start your claim immediately.
6) We will accept cancellations up to 7 Days ahead of the booking for a full rental refund, less than 7 Days notice will recieve a 50% rental refund.
7) We cannot accept any responsibility for the damage or loss to your equipment whilst using our bike boxes. Packing guides and advice are all available on the Bike Box Alan website. Any additional packaging required is the hirer’s responsibility.
8) Our box will be assessed for damage on return. Any damage or loss of removable parts (excluding reasonable scuffs and scratches during transportation) may incur a fee from your deposit. Significant damage rendering the box unusable or unsafe will be invoiced to you at the box’s market value.
9) If you are unfortunate enough to incur damage to the bike box during the rental period, and the damage can be repaired by us, then the cost of parts and delivery will be deducted from your deposit. (Costs of spares are on the BBA website – wheels, clasps, anti-crush bar, internal foam padding etc). This is only to cover the cost of parts, no labour or profit. If the damage is significant and may make the box unusable for the next hirer please report asap so we can act on this.
10) Please do not store the Box in damp or wet conditions.
11) Only use approved locks or cable ties to secure your bike box to avoid expensive damage by customs.
12) Please return the box clean and remove all airline stickers.
